Vania Hardy Fine Art & Illustration
Representing the finest of Lancaster County’s vibrant art community, Vania Hardy is a self-taught expressionist artist and illustrator, who makes her home in Elizabethtown.
Vania is deeply inspired by stories; her pieces are often expressions of her own stories or a response to others she knows. Her illustration work has a whimsical storybook quality and her fine art is expressive and richly colorful. She has exhibited works at the Mt. Gretna Outdoor Art Show (2015), the Trattoria Fratelli Summer Season (2016), and has painted captivating murals in Lebanon and Lancaster.
To the delight of many happy customers, Vania has originals available for sale online and is open to commissions for both fine art pieces and unique works of illustration.
Vania is also passionate about using art as a compelling platform for creating community. She facilitates free art nights that are open to anyone. These events give people a space and supplies to imagine and create in a positive, judgment-free environment–no skills required. People just enjoy the creative process, and even make new friends. About the Artist…
Being a third culture kid, I’m fascinated by unexpected juxtapositions that create unlikely connections. I express that with splashes of contrasting colors, along with a balance of structured lines and spontaneous strokes. Without always trying, I tend to explore themes of home, identity, community, and legacy.”
