This used to be my favorite store because the prices were unbeatable and they sold a lot of items in bulk, but ever since the new owners have taken over the prices have absolutely skyrocketed. I really dislike how they’re still trying to maintain the air of a small, humble, and farm-to-table fresh little Mennonite store while changing the very aspects that made it what it is, as well as now charging you premium prices. The entire reason I came to this place so often was because of the great prices but at this point I may as well just go to weis instead which is much closer to my house because many times it ends up being way more expensive here! For example, today I paid only a few cents short of $12 for 4 peaches the size baseballs and a watermelon the size of a soccer ball which is already bad enough… but they’re both in season! That’s absurd!

Have been buying John Martin regular franks here for years. Previously they were priced at $4.99.Last week there was no tag on the shelf for them.The cheese dogs were still labeled. Got to the register with 2 packs.They are now $6.49 a pack!Weis sells them for $4.99 if anyone else wants to not pay so much for them.Sad this place used to be a really nice place to shop.I have been a loyal customer for about 30 years.The prices are ridiculous!

I bought a container of crotons and when I opened them they smelled so bad. Smelled of old oil. Looked at date and it was January. So I just bought 5 month old crotons. Called the store and because I was too far away to return them they send me a card. The purchase price of the crotons was $4.64. I got a card for $4.64. Not 4.65 or $5.00 or even $10.00 to show their appreciation for me supporting them. Just $4.64. Terrible PR.

We feature a full line of first quality bulk foods that are always guaranteed fresh.  Our bulk food selections include: *all varieties of flours & full line of baking supplies *wide selection of whole grains, beans, & other legumes *all types of pastas, including gluten free *full assortment of nuts & dried fruits *extensive line of candies and snack foods, including sugar-free offerings *peanut butter (roasted/unsalted & honey-roasted), ground fresh daily*all varieties of spices.

Our fresh meat department features their own country fresh sausage, fresh ground beef and a variety of hamburger patties including the famous Shaw burger.  We also custom cut steaks and roasts.  All items made on site.

We have many items like homemade chicken pies, chicken croquettes, strombolis and quiches, prepared meals, pizzas, different types of sandwiches, cheesecake, soups and salads.

We offer customized  ordering and offer sliced and chipped lunch meat and cheeses – cut daily. 

We work closely with our distributors to make sure we have the freshest fruits and vegetables for your table. We also have long-term relationships with numerous local farms and orchards to offer a delightful selection of in-season produce such as lettuces, apples, peaches, corn, and broccoli just to name a few.
