Providing The Unbeatable Taste of Tree-Ripened Peaches…
Located at the eastern edge of picturesque Lancaster County, Spring House Farm planted their first grove of peach trees in 2009. Since that time, they have remained tirelessly committed to growing the area’s best tasting peaches, year after year.
From the beginning of August through the middle of September, Spring House Farm looks forward to the return of their many loyal retail and wholesale customers. There is nothing better than biting into a mouth-watering peach that has been hand-picked, fresh from the orchard.
Spring House Farm grows and harvests 10 varieties of peaches and nectarines, each of which has their own distinct and delightful flavor. Because of variations in the ripening process, the picking season extends into a very busy six week annual event. Whether you want to buy a few for eating fresh or want to buy a crate or more for canning or freezing, Spring House Farm is glad you found them and they sincerely hope you enjoy eating their peaches as much as they enjoy growing and picking them.

Not only are Spring House peaches incredibly delicious, they are also nutritious…a great source of antioxidants and vitamins including A & C. Over the years, ripening signs that have proven to be true are a peach’s smell and touch. A ripened peach will have a pleasantly sweet smell and be soft to the touch, with a slight give when gently squeezed. Spring House features peaches that are typically in-season throughout the entire month of August through the middle of September…these varieties include Red Haven, Flamin’ Fury variations, Coral Star, Bounty, Contender, and Madison. They also feature Nectarines in late August.
For the tastiest peach allow to riper a day or two. Lay peaches out in a single layer at room temperature, and as they soften put in the fridge or can; or enjoy!
