Marshall and his crew were great from start to finish of logging our property. Great communication and kept the area clean despite having considerable amounts of rain during the project.

These guys are professional. From coming out pricing the timber, doing the tree harvest, to the clean up. We had 5 different company’s come out and price the timber. They had the best price and did an excellent job.

Established in 2006, Soapstone Sawmill operates within a 130 mile radius of their home base in Peach Bottom, PA.  Their loggers are FFI trained and certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, ensuring the longterm health and sustainability of wooded land and forests, as a renewable resource for future generations.

With the help of lots of specialized equipment and plenty of hard work, Soapstone Sawmill offers custom sawing and sells lumber, made to order specification.  They also manufacture custom construction mats up to 40 feet in length.  In addition, they create fence boards and quality stakes. With their sale of sawdust and firewood (available in a quantities as small as 1 cord and as many as 30), no wood is wasted at Soapstone Sawmill.
