I had the pleasure of using Soapstone Sawmill for my logging needs. It was time for trees in my woodlot to be harvested to encourage new growth. Marshall met me at the lot and walked through the lot and the entire process with me. I am very pleased with Soapstone and especially Marshall. His communication and follow up are top notch. I highly recommend Soapstone.

Established in 2006, Soapstone Sawmill operates within a 130 mile radius of their home base in Peach Bottom, PA.  Their loggers are FFI trained and certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, ensuring the longterm health and sustainability of wooded land and forests, as a renewable resource for future generations.

With the help of lots of specialized equipment and plenty of hard work, Soapstone Sawmill offers custom sawing and sells lumber, made to order specification.  They also manufacture custom construction mats up to 40 feet in length.  In addition, they create fence boards and quality stakes. With their sale of sawdust and firewood (available in a quantities as small as 1 cord and as many as 30), no wood is wasted at Soapstone Sawmill.
