Our Milk…

PINE VIEW DAIRY MILK…
…costs you less.
Operating as an independent dairy farm and store eliminates the middleman, giving you fresher milk at a lower price.
…comes from cows that have not been given rBST hormones.
While bovine somatotropin naturally occurs in cows, some dairy farmers give their cows rBST, a genetically engineered copy of BST, to boost and extend a cow’s milk production. rBST, approved by the FDA in 1993, is widely used in the United States and requires no additional labeling. At Pine View Dairy, we do not use rBST as part of our commitment to give you natural, farm fresh milk.
…comes in eco-friendly plastic bags.
Really, what’s cooler than milk in bags? Well, how about milk in bags that are better for the environment compared to plastic or cardboard cartons? Though it’s unusual in the United States, packaging milk in bags is commonplace in large parts of Canada and Great Britain, as well as some developing countries. Packaging drinks in bags uses less plastic than packaging them in cartons, and when empty, bags take up less space in the trash than cartons. Our bags can also be recycled as a number 4 plastic.
