Labadie Looms

Featuring wool and fiber from nearby sheep and alpaca farms, Labadie Looms is Lancaster County’s original fiber arts studio and local yarn shop.  Whether you are aspiring to knit for the first time or have years of experience with the spinning wheel, this hidden gem is a favorite gathering place for artistic expression and a must-discover, one-stop shopping destination for quality yarns and all variety of fiber art materials, training guides, and accessories.

Locally owned and operated by a sole proprietor, Donna Morrison Beaver is a ninth generation weaver who is highly regarded for her  expert proficiency in creating a wide variety of hand dyed and handspun yarns, including vibrantly colored art yarns.

Labadie Looms has several styles of looms that transform her store into a weaver’s workshop and skilled demonstration center.

With many amazing years of experience and a tireless passion to share the joy of “all things fiber art” with others, private lessons can be scheduled for weaving, knitting, and spinning.  Join with other knitting enthusiasts for the weekly fiber arts hangout that is held in the store on Thursday afternoons.
