Like the reviewer below, we drove quite a ways (1.5hrs) to visit this bike store from Northern Baltimore County MD and I'm glad we did. The location is a bit out there (see last photo) but this made our trip that much better.
We picked up a brand new cross/gravel bike for my son. Finding a 24" drop bar bike (for a 9y/o) in the good ole U.S. of A. is near impossible these days BTW. I made A LOT of phone calls. Who would of guessed I would find one way out in the country side in East Earl PA?
They included several nice freebies with our purchase as well. NEW BIKE DAYS ARE THE BEST DAYS!

If I could rate 5 million stars I would. I have an autistic son who had outgrown his bicycle in 20" bmx style. The spec I needed for the next bike size up 24" bmx style didn't exist with the exact details to work for my son, nobody made a bike I needed off the shelf. I called Shirks, an angel named Louis took my situation as challenge accepted. Louis took the initiative as a problem solver and the time to research how he could find a solution. When Louis called me he had already called Huffy who was already in process of expediting a specific frame model/bike set to him so he could modify it in time for Christmas. Huffy, understanding the situation in detail from Louis, also stepped up their game big time and helped us out with their generosity and support. I couldn't ask for a better service provider. Thank you Louis, Huffy, and everyone at the Shirks Bike Shop in East Earl PA.

I have a 2025 Cervelo Caledonia 5. I have had ongoing problems specifically with the bottom bracket bearings failing prematurely. And when I say failing prematurely I mean literally every two rides the bearings would be noisy and spent. I tried the factory bottom bracket and bearings, I tried a Wheels manufacturing bottom bracket and bearings and I also tried a token bottom bracket with their more expensive ceramic bearings. All of which performed identically. Poorly. I went back and forth with the manufacturer and a tech at Cervelo many times. Surprisingly, they didn't seem to have any answers. So, out of desperation I called shirks. And after a long conversation the original individual who answered the phone put me on the phone with luis. Not sure if I'm spelling his name correctly. So after I continued long conversation Lewis suggested that I go with a one-piece bottom bracket for my Bbright frame. Which I did. And the problem went away. Apparently this bbright bottom bracket is hypersensitive to off-center loads. Therefore any thread together bottom bracket would not perfectly align the bearings with the cups and the crank spindle. So I put this one piece bottom bracket in and the problem is 100% resolved. Amazing advice!

I recently got a new bike and I wanted it looked at just to ensure it was safe and good to go. The staff went above and beyond and not only ensured the bike was safe and good to ride they also helped me fit it to my height and comfort. Definitely will be returning for all my bike needs and if I could give it a 10 stars I would.
