I made my very first visit to Sensenig Poultry on the last Friday morning in September. The parking initially felt limited, but then I noticed additional parking spaces to the left of the building. I was not sure what to expect. The employees were friendly and helpful. I purchased four items. The Baked Oatmeal was on special and a yummy selection. My main purchase was a whole chicken roaster which was partially used for soup. The broth was flavorful and made a savory chicken soup. The Chicken Parmesan was an impulse buy for a quick meal. I would definitely purchase this again.

My disappointment was the broccoli and ham quiche. I followed the baking directions. The broccoli was tasteless and probably was previously frozen. The ham was small cubes that tasted like lunch meat. When I cut into the quiche to serve to guests, I was not happy with how watery and unappealing it was. The bottom crust was soggy. I would not recommend this quiche.

The place was clean with small carts available to shop with ease. Overall it was a positive shopping experience.

I have been a customer of theirs for 9 years and I have always been treated kindly from the minute I've walked through their doors!! The bonus for me is that they are only 100 yards from my kitchen!! I highly recommend that you sample all their products, I have! If you are looking for treats they have so many handmade goodies it's hard to just choose one, so I get two or three to give to my neighbors. Now, open Wednesdays as well!!
