Lititz Storytelling Festival
Hosted in the heart of historic Lancaster County, the annual Lititz Storytelling Festival celebrates the powerful tradition of storytelling. Featuring nationally recognized storytellers whose winsome wit and tales of lore captivates the heart and inspires the mind, the Festival is held during the second Friday and Saturday of each September.
With room for all, the Festival is held at the auditorium of the Warwick Middle School, which offers an intimate theater experience with state-of-the art sound and light.
With varieties of story that range from imaginative to the hilarious and styles of delivery that range from poetic to song, storytelling provides opportunities for both storyteller and listener to better appreciate their past, to more fully embrace life in the present, and to have greater hopes and bigger dreams for the future.
In addition to attending a full slate of scheduled presentations, festival attendees can participate in instructive workshops that will assist them in preparing stories from their own life and in developing their own presentation skills. Come spend a weekend of fun and relaxation with family or friends in the idyllic town of Lititz.
