For those who truly want to experience the authentic simplicity of the PA Dutch Countryside, Schoolhouse Haven Vacation Home is a perfect destination for restful getaways in Lancaster County.
Schoolhouse Haven was an actual school, built in 1907. You will stay in an immaculately clean and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the whimsical village of White Horse, next to the White Horse Fire Department, which serves the local community, including a large population of Amish folks.
Guests are hosted by the Stoltzfus family, who are 4th generation Amish locals. Samuel’s father actually went to school at Schoolhouse Haven years ago. It is a pleasure for them to welcome you to their community!
Schoolhouse Haven is strategically positioned along Old Philadelphia Pike(Route 340) where guests can sit on the front porch and observe Amish buggies passing by, from early morning until night. It is within easy driving distance to many Lancaster County attractions, and is within walking distance of White Horse Luncheonette, a favorite lunch spot of the locals in the area.
