For three generations, Wenger’s Greenhouse has been a true hidden gem located west of Ephrata, just a half mile off of Rte 322 on Wissler Road. Large enough to supply many of your gardening needs but small enough to remember your name, Wenger’s welcomes the opportunity to serve you.

Known for their quality greenhouse selections and attentive customer service, Wenger’s ensures the full satisfaction of their many loyal customers who have come to rely upon them for all their springtime planting and summer gardening needs.

From their wide variety of annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants to their beautiful hanging baskets and gardening supplies, Wenger’s becomes a return visit, again and again, for those who discover them.

In support of their commitment to use as few chemicals as possible, Wenger’s Greenhouse purchases and “employs” thousands of beneficial insects each year to help control plant pests, including aphids, thrips, and mites. While browsing through the greenhouse, keep “an eye out” for some of God’s marvelous creatures that bring balance to creation!

Hours of Operation

Wenger’s Greenhouse is ready and eager to serve your gardening needs from early March through June.
Monday – Friday, 8am until 8pm.
Saturday, 8am – 5pm
Closed Sundays.

March hours are limited to 8am until 5pm.

Join Wenger’s for PLANTER DAYS!…held around the end of April every year. You can choose one FREE empty planter, per household (choose from several options). In addition, you can bring your own planters or buy from the available selection. Use Wenger’s soil for free*, available for all planters that are planted on location. Plant your own or Wenger’s can plant it for you…either way, you can leave the mess at the greenhouse. All you buy is the plants. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun!

Wenger’s begins preparing for your beautiful summertime flower gardens in the cold months of January and February, when they start planting seeds and rooting cuttings for the upcoming growing season.

Just a few hanging baskets and a couple of planters can bring a whole new look to your patio, front porch, or any other area around your house. Customers at Wenger’s are delighted with the wide selection of baskets and planters that last the entire summer season, as long as they are properly watered and cared for!
