Replete with captivating charm and famous for authentic hospitality, Shank’s Tavern is Lancaster County’s oldest, continuously operating tavern and serves as one of the area’s favorite gathering places. Located at the corner of Front and Waterford in the historic river town of Marietta, this hidden gem has an extraordinary 200 year legacy of hosting guests in a victorian styled pub that retains many original fixtures from when it was constructed in 1814.

The tavern has a rotating beer repertoire that includes eight taps of mostly craft beers and it features more than 25 premium tequilas, ensuring the tastes and preferences of loyal patrons and first time guests are fully satisfied.
From their famous homemade soups to mouthwatering hand-patted burgers, from specialty sandwiches to hand-rolled stromboli…everything served at Shank’s Tavern is made with premium, local ingredients and is savorily delicious. There are always a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options.
