Our Story…

Columbia Kettle Works micro craft breweryAfter much preparation and lots of hard work, Columbia Kettle Works opened its doors in May of 2014 on the first floor of the former United Telephone Co. building in Columbia.  This hidden gem is locally owned and operated by Rod Smith and Bill Collister, longtime co-workers at the Farason Corporation, who not only share a passion for engineering but also a love for craft beers.  Combining their years of work experience together with their passion for craft beer, Bill and Rod have seen their vision of operating their own craft brewery become a successful reality.
