Locally owned and operated, resident craftsman Isaac Stoltzfus opened the doors of Forest Hill after gaining 14 years of experience in the leather craft.

Assisted by his apprenticing sons, Issac thoroughly enjoys his work and is very happy to share the finished products with the many people who come through his doors each year. In addition, he sells custom-made leather products to specialty stores and wholesale vendors.

FANTASTIC! I bought two 1.5” single piece bridal leather belts. They had a number of options (which you can see on their site) but I just wanted a simple belt with no threading or debossing. They had a number of different options for belt buckles to choose from, but again I just wanted something simple, and went for a brass piece.

Ike (who was awesome in every way!) noticed I was trying to match colors with my shoes, saw that they didn’t have any out in my size with the same shade. He looked around and got one from the back, took the buckle I selected, and had it out in 15 minutes.

It was full grain, vegetable tanned, single piece with a brass buckle. Literally everything I wanted, for $39. Obviously I won’t know for sure, but it looks like this is going to last me a few decades AT LEAST! Very happy with this.

They are friendly and convenient enough, but when adding a hole in my leather watch strap - they put it at noticeably different spacing from the other holes even though I asked for it to match the others.

Excellent experience! I came in looking for a gray belt, which was not on display. The owner then proceeded to locate gray leather and custom-made a belt for me.
Then I told him I was looking for a black belt with single holes all around. Again, he did not have one on the floor, but he made one for me.
I really appreciated his extra effort.

Watched a boy aggressively throw a baby bird to the ground to feed a dog as we parked and got out of the car. Very upsetting to watch out in the open.
