Locally owned and family operated since 1980, any serious gardener within 100 hundred miles will say that the trip to Black Creek Greenhouses is very well worth the trip to access their wide selection of quality products and to experience their knowledgeable personal service.

Be prepared to be amazed at the over 1000 variety of perennials, 130 herbs, and 50 types of tomatoes that are available…in addition to everything else you need for your planting and decorative gardening needs.  Check out their Miniature Garden supplies!

Black Creek specializes in new and unusual plants that we add to the “old faithful” varieties that people have come to expect each year.  These include a full range of annuals, proven winner plants, and over 7000 hanging baskets (supertunias, various types of ferns, and combination flowers).  As summer draws to a close, make sure to return to Black Creek for our famous mums and full selection of decorative fall harvest items.  To finish out the year, get ready for Christmas holidays by adding the vibrant color of our poinsettias.

Best place ever to buy flowers. Picked up two hanging plants for my place & 3 for my girlfriend's place. Prices better than anywhere else and the variety available is fantastic!

Huge variety of plants: perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs... you name it. Prices are a bit high compared to some other places in the area. If they could better mark the prices of items, that would be my recommendation. Free coffee machine or steroids for those shoppers who need a little pep in their step.

Very large and high quality plant and seedling selection in a huge greenhouse. Prices on plants and seedlings are reasonable. Parking was adequate on our Saturday visit.

I've shopped at Black Creek for 5 years or so, and their selection is extensive and very interesting. I've had particularly good results with toad lilies which they sell which are comparatively hard to find locally. The service is always friendly and prices very reasonable.

The origins of Black Creek began with the marriage of Harvey and Irene Zimmerman over 30 years ago, when Irene asked Harvey to build a hot bed for seeding plants.  Harvey did one better and built Irene a little green house…this small beginning sparked their interest in gardening and was the start of what has become a 90,000 foot green house complex that employs a staff of almost 30 dedicated workers…and even more during planting time.
