Your Local Do-it-All Sawmill…

Belmont Hardwoods is a one-stop sawmill operation for those who value attentive service and appreciate the skilled handling of customized projects and unique needs.  They feature band saw mill services, sawing logs up to 36″ diameter and 21′ long.  Their Lucas slabbing mill is designed for creating table slabs, sawing logs up to 54″ wide and 20′ long.  Both of their mills are portable, which allows for offsite milling at your property. Barn wood beams can also re-sawn and milled into flooring.

Belmont Hardwoods has an on-location dehumidifing lumber dry kiln with a drying capacity for up to 8K board ft of lumber, including beams, slabs, and flooring.  Their state-of-the-art molder can mill flooring up to 12″ wide and provides 4 side lumber planing, as well as tongue & groove work.

Belmont Hardwoods is stocked with live edge table slabs, including wood varieties of Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Poplar, Oak, Sassafras, Catalpa, and Hickory.  Furniture grade hardwoods and rustic lumber pieces are also available, along with Custom Live Edge Table Furniture, Coffee Tables, and Bar Tops.  In addition, kiln dried shavings are available for animal bedding, along with ready-to-use firewood logs.

They did a fabulous job turning our trees into floor boards to use for our addition. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I can't recommend them enough!

My dad used to take logs to sawmills, but this was my first time as I took several large walnut logs to Belmont. Emmanuel and I had great communication via email throughout the process. Since these were my first logs, I had a lot of questions that he was guide me on and provide his best opinions. The logs were cut a week later. Belmont was very efficient in their cuts which yielded far more lumber than I expected - all great looking boards with virtually no sap wood - all for a great price. The boards were strapped together in a tight load that he was able to place on my trailer with a forklift. After a few months of air drying, I plan to take the boards back for kiln drying. I'd recommend Belmont to anyone.

These guys are great. They got me set up with a dark walnut slab for a countertop and some red oak for beam wrap and all the epoxy and finish product that I needed. Would definitely recommend.

They slabbed a log for me. Probably couldn't have gotten it done cheaper anywhere else. Easy folks to deal with. 👍
