A real Lancaster County original, Witmer Quilt Shop started over 50 years ago, when Emma Witmer’s mother posted a sign to sell her quilts. Since then, the quilting craft has become a family tradition, presenting the finest in original and creative Pennsylvania Dutch quilting.
Stop by Witmer’s to see the over 150 quilts, pillow and wall hangings in stock…many of which are original designs by Emma with custom colors and patterns.
Entering Witmer’s Quilt Shop provides you with a unique, one-of-a-kind experience…not only will you will be surrounded by piles of beautiful quilts, your host, Emma, serves as a ultimate curator as she, from memory, recounts the pattern and all the details of each quilt…down to the number of pieces!
Witmer Quilt Shop is an enduring Lancaster County original…the amazing collection of quilts are displayed in three rooms of her home where over 150 quilts of all styles and sizes are piled high…antique quilts, modern patterns, traditional patterns, as well as Emma’s own designs.

History of the Shop
