Eastland Alpacas Farm Tour & StoreLocated on 30 idyllic acres of rolling countryside near Mount Joy, the Eastland Alpacas Farm is a storybook style destination that captures the hearts and oohs/awes of both young and old.

The immaculate Eastland Store is a showcase of highest quality clothing and home accessories made from the fiber of Eastland’s own alpacas, as well as products woven from nationwide fiber cooperatives and high-quality Peruvian selections.

Tours of Eastland, which contains around 120 alpacas, can be Eastland Alpacas Farm Store and Tourscheduled but must be made by advanced reservation.  Come get a close-up introduction to alpacas, beautiful and fascinating animals from South America’s Andes Mountains that were introduced into the United States less than 30 years ago.

In addition to the farm, you are invited to the many outside events that Eastland participates in throughout the year…from local farm shows to community festivals.

Store Hours, Tours, Events…

eastland alpaca storeThe Eastland Farm Store is open “by chance” or by appointment Monday through Saturday, 10am until 4pm.  Please call prior to driving to the farm to ensure availability.

Tours of the Aplaca Farm, where you can get an up-close encounter with these lovable animals, are available but must be scheduled by advance reservation by calling (717)653-2757.

In addition to the store and farm tours, Eastland Alpacas participates in many community events (farm shows, expos, celebrations) throughout the year.  This is a great opportunity to interact with a few of the farm’s alpacas who are always delighted with having been “chosen” to meet with you and other people attending the community event.  During these events, the farm and store will be closed to visitors.

The Eastland Story…

Picture 190Kevin and Sue Zurin bought their first two gelding alpacas in 2002 and quickly found their appreciation for these lovable animals turning into a passionate commitment that has subsequently become a thriving herd of 120 alpacas on their Eastland Farm.  In addition to their on-location store, that features a wide variety of “all thing alpaca,” Eastland specializes in the sals of and services for alpacas.

eastland alpacas online storeThe Eastland Farm Store is available for those who wish to discover and buy the remarkable, high-quality merchandise that is made from alpaca fiber.  From sweaters and socks to hats, scarves, and gloves…enjoy the “warm hugs” that come with alpaca clothing and accessories.  Unlike sheep’s wool, alpaca fiber does not contain any lanolin.  Browse through other alpaca products including rugs, throws, teddy bears, fibers, and more!
